There were reports of positive sighting of the moon on Tuesday 27th May 2025, so Eid al-Adha will be celebrated by most Muslim communities on Friday 6th June 2025.

The new moon has been sighted on Saturday evening in Saudi Arabia. Eid al-Fitr will be on Sunday 30th March 2025. Local masajid announcements to follow.

There were reports of positive sighting of the moon on Thursday 6th June 2024, so Eid al-Adha will be celebrated by most Muslim communities on Sunday 16th June 2024. Some masajid are following local sightings, and will celebrate Eid al-Adha on Monday 17th June 2024.

The new moon has not been sighted on Monday evening across the UK and nations to the East. Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday 10th April 2024.

Ramadan Mubarak! There have been reported sightings of the new moon in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 10th March 2024, declaring the 1st of Ramadan 1445 AH to be Monday 11th March 2024.

Saudi Arabia declared positive sighting of the moon on Sunday 18th June 2023, so Eid al-Adha will be celebrated by most Muslim communities on Wednesday 28th June 2023. Some masajid are following local sightings, and will celebrate Eid al-Adha on Thursday 29th June 2023.

The new moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. The majority of local masajid have confirmed that they are celebrating Eid on Friday 21st April, and some will be celebrating on Saturday 22nd April.

We confirm that the new moon has not been sighted tonight so our first Tarawih jama’at will be held tomorrow evening across all masajid, and our first fast will be on Thursday 23rd March 2023. Ramadan Mubarak!

We confirm that the new moon has been sighted in the UAE, on Friday 1st April 2022, so our first fast will be on Saturday 2nd April 2022. We’ll update our website/app as more news comes in.

In accordance with the latest advice from the Government and the guidance from the Muslim Council of Britain, Insha’Allah, Aisha Masjid & Islamic Centre, Reading and Jamme Masjid, Alexandra Rd, Reading will be re-opening on 4 July 2020 from Fajr prayer.

We confirm that the new moon has been sighted in Jebel Jais, UAE, on Thursday 23rd April 2020, so our first fast will be Friday 24th April 2020. We’ll update our website/app as more news comes in.
